Last year was Henry’s year!

He finished 29th on the US Tour money list, picking up his only Tour victory so far at the Buick in his 177th tour start. The win earned Henry an exemption into The Open at Hoylake and jumped him to sixth on the Ryder Cup points list. Went to K Club and emerged with some credit from three ties and no defeats as Europe swept to victory. This year has an eighth at the Mercedes but little else to shout about. Managed to stay the full weekend at the US Open and finished tied 26th.

Three bogeys, but three birdies on Friday kept him in the hunt at Carnoustie, but it’s a big ask.
