Won the Greater Hartford Open in his rookie year in 1997 and promised great things. Has won a further three tournaments and was at a career high fifth on the US Tour money list in 2004 after winning the MCI Heritage and the prestigious WGC-NEC Invitational.. but has been consistent without hitting the heights since.

This season, finished ninth at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, was fifth and one of only three players to record all four rounds under par at the Wachovia Championship, third in the Players Championship and fifth at the Memorial Tournament.

Other than an 80 on the Friday at Oakmont, Cink has been consistent, but unlikely to feature.
